Why: I am now a research student in GIS at Leicester University. To prove my supposed ability at being adept of navigating the sea of theory and opinion in Human Geography (with a capital G) I need to create a work-book .
What: This work-book is an empty book. Due to the module needed to be marked and adjudicated I need to fill said book with my thoughts on the theory and non-theory of Human Geography.
This is all well and good, I see the world through my own perspective. I also like wine (especially Gewurztraminer). Currently at this point it seems like a good idea to see how the world of wine applies to Human Geography. Case in point: Marxism and Geography. In ye olden times wine was grown, tended and bottled by the proletariat and drunk by the vile bourgeoisie. Also it can apply to other theory in Human Geography, I just haven’t read the appropriate journal/drank enough wine.
